Hilary Stoddard (b. 1983) is a representational oil painter based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She creates drawings and paintings using traditional methods, channeling her twenty years as a graphic designer to inform her compositional choices. Inspired by the natural world as well as human emotion, she hopes to expand her fine art practice while continuing her design work.
Hilary has studied under the exceptional artists Alia El-Bermani and Catherine Bobkoski, and has taken classes at the Academy of Realist Art Toronto and New Masters Academy.
